PM Edi Rama stated during Ilva Now that Albania hasn\u2019t made any steps forward toward the European integration, not because we haven\u2019t fulfilled the conditions, but because this obstacle, he says, comes as a result of problems coming from European Union countries themselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I have said that I have lived in another kind of Europe, it is because it was a Europe before the crisis, which made it a confused Europe. Europe today isn\u2019t the same Europe as the one I was talking about back then. I don\u2019t have any dates, Basha is the one that gives out the dates because he deals with these things. Don\u2019t expect anything before the elections are over in the Netherlands, and now another problem has come up which is Bulgaria blocking North Macedonia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The head of state said that the much talked about problems regarding Albania aren\u2019t real, but they are made up by countries in the EU.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey don\u2019t have any problems with us, they have their own internal problems. We haven\u2019t had any problems, they have made up our problems because they are fabrications that come as a result of countries\u2019 internal interests, because there is only one judge in this whole thing, there aren\u2019t any other judges, and it is the European Commission. It is the Commission of the final test, whereas the European Council is the party committee,\u201d said Rama.<\/p>\n
