The Institute of Public Health published on Tuesday the risk mitigation protocol to be followed at polling places.<\/p>\n

On every polling station, the number of voters must be in proportion to the number of polling booths, in addition to the two people that will be enrolling to vote.<\/p>\n

Polling booths must be 1.5 meters away from each other, and also be far from the members of the Voting Center Commission (VCC). The same will be applied to observers.<\/p>\n

The recommendation is to have polling stations on the first floor and have a considerable surface for proper air circulation.<\/p>\n

Prior to entering the polling places, the members of VCC and observers, must declare if they have a fever or any other symptom related to COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Polling booths must be placed 1.5 meters away from one another.<\/p>\n

Large gatherings will be prohibited in front of polling places, while voters waiting to cast their ballot must maintain a 1.5 meters physical distance from the next voter in line.<\/p>\n

Then, a worker from the polling station will make sure that voters will stay in line and respect the 1.5 meters distance, as well as explain how they will proceed to the polling booth and avoid unnecessary movement.<\/p>\n

Voters will have to disinfect their hands after the entire process.<\/p>\n
