A Co-Production with Albania, France, Greece, and Kosovo, as well as, a screenplay by Artan Minarolli\u2014 \u201cThe Delegation\u201d is Alimani\u2019s 3<sup style=\"background-color: inherit; color: inherit; font-family: inherit;\">rd<\/sup> Movie to have been submitted for an Oscar Nomination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As a European Delegation heads to Tirana, in order to monitor the crucial political reforms for the Country to join the OSCE Security Agency\u2014Officials came forth with a proposal to release a long-time Political Prisoner, so as to convince the EU that everything is going well. However, nothing went according to plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In 2011, the nomination of his first Film \u201cThe Amnesty\u201d came after the Movie \u201cFalja e Gjakut\u201d (The Forgiveness of Blood) shot by U.S. Director Joshua Marston on location in Northern Albania\u2014whose Oscar Nomination was canceled following a controversial decision that was made by The Academy in Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Albanian Director Mr. Alimani, formally protested against the nomination of Marston\u2019s Film\u2014insisting that, it could not be considered an Albanian Movie, just because it was filmed in Albania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In 2016, Alimani submitted his second Movie \u201cThe Chrome\u201d for an Oscar Nomination and sadly, it did not get a nomination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Since 1996, Albania has submitted Movies for nomination at Prestigious Awards like the Cannes Film Festival, but it has not yet won a nomination.
