{"id":12994,"date":"2021-05-07T15:59:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-07T15:59:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=12994"},"modified":"2021-05-07T15:59:38","modified_gmt":"2021-05-07T15:59:38","slug":"president-meta-declares-that-he-no-longer-recognizes-the-parliaments-legitimacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/president-meta-declares-that-he-no-longer-recognizes-the-parliaments-legitimacy\/","title":{"rendered":"President Meta declares that he no longer recognizes the Parliament\u2019s legitimacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The spokesperson of President Meta, Tedi Blushi stated today in a statement for the press that the President won\u2019t recognize any motion or action taken by the Albanian Parliament, which he considers a \u201cpuppet\u201d and \u201cin violation with the Constitution\u201d as a result of it being \u201cone-party system\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny product coming from a fictive and unlawful parliamentary process, that goes against the principles and values of our democratic society doesn\u2019t deserve any attention and should remain nullified,\u201d \u2013 stated Blushi, while regarding the socialist majority \u201ca kleptocratic regime\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody can hide, not behind the \u201cethics\u201d nor behind the \u201crhetoric\u201d, because this is a case of sovereignty.
