{"id":13977,"date":"2021-05-20T17:01:50","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T17:01:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=13977"},"modified":"2021-05-20T17:23:54","modified_gmt":"2021-05-20T17:23:54","slug":"former-pm-berisha-answers-whether-or-not-hell-leave-politics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/former-pm-berisha-answers-whether-or-not-hell-leave-politics\/","title":{"rendered":"Former PM Berisha answers whether or not he\u2019ll leave politics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Considering the claims raised by the US Department of State against him as \u201cfalse accusations\u201d, the former PM of Albania, Sali Berisha stated that he has sued the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken at the Correctional Tribunal of Paris.<\/p>\n<p>While emphasizing that not even his harshest political opponents have ever raised such claims against him, Berisha stated that the accusations are \u201ca comedy and political montage\u201d, that have the only goal of damaging his dignity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore my dignity, I do not fear anyone in the world, I will put my dignity back to its rightful place,\u201d said the former Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>When asked whether he would resign from politics after being declared \u2018non grata\u2019 by the United States, the former PM said that he would take something like this into consideration, if the supporting evidence was actually published.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not know what the fantasies or projects of others are.
