However, it seems that the building sector in our country isn\u2019t experiencing any slowdown, on the contrary it has seen considerable growth compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>According to data gathered by INSTAT, during the first trimester of the year, construction permits for new buildings have reached 251. During the same period last year, only 184 building permits were issued. \u00a0Therefore, this year the number of permits has seen a 36.4% growth.<\/p>\n<p>When looking at the distribution across the country, Tirana is ranked first, issuing more than 72 permits, followed by Durres with 44 and Fier and Lezha with 26 permits each.
