The passengers injured during the deadly bus crash in Croatia are in stable condition and are receiving all the necessary medical care.<\/p>\n

It was Albanian MP in Croatia, Emina Lekaj-P\u00ebrlaskaj, that confirmed the positive development during an interview for Euronews Albania.<\/p>\n

\u201c17 [of the injured] are expected to leave the hospital, 15 are staying at a hotel, 3 are in intensive therapy but in a stable condition, 2 others were sent to Zagreb, of which 1 had an injury on his spine. In general, they have non-life-threatening injuries, but are going mainly through a psychological trauma\u201d, explained Lekaj-P\u00ebrlaskaj.<\/p>\n

The MP, originally from the city of Prizren in Kosovo, said survivors have been provided with psychological care and translators, while authorities have identified 6 of the victims so far.<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning, a bus traveling from Frankfurt to Pristina derailed off the road near the Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina border claiming the lives of 10 and injuring 44 passengers.<\/p>\n

The police have arrested the driver, who as also said by Lekaj-P\u00ebrlaskaj, had fallen asleep while driving, shortly after stopping for a break.<\/p>\n

Monday was declared National Day of Mourning by Kosovo\u2019s President Vjosa Osmani.<\/p>\n

Euronews Albania correspondent in Kosovo reported that the majority of the victims are from the municipality of Gjakova and 2 from Rahovec.<\/p>\n
