Among the sixteen decisions passed at the first government meeting was a bill on the status of minors considered under the care of the Republic.<\/p>\n

According to the new bill, children of health care workers who died at the front of the battle against the pandemic will receive their parent\u2019s salary until reaching adulthood.<\/p>\n

According to the head of the Albanian government, the objective aims to provide financial relief to the children of those who \u201cgave their lives\u201d to protect the national interest.<\/p>\n

\u201cChildren of doctors, nurses, or supportive personnel that died from COVID-19 while on duty will be treated in a retroactive manner and will receive their parent\u2019s full salary until they become 18-years old\u201d, said PM Edi Rama.<\/p>\n
