One in every two Albanians didn\u2019t go on summer vacation this year. Of the 50% that didn\u2019t go on vacation this summer, the majority represent low-income families or seniors, over 65.<\/p>\n

These were the findings of the most recent poll conducted by Euronews Albania\u2019s weekly show \u2018Barometer\u2019. When asked if they went on vacation this summer, 49.7% of respondents said \u2018no\u2019 and 10.3% said \u2018they would only go away on the weekends’.<\/p>\n

Of the percentage that couldn\u2019t go on vacation, the poll found that 65.4%-77.2% are seniors or persons from a low-income group.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, 30.4% of respondents said that they \u2018did go on holiday\u2019 whereas 9.6% said they \u2018will continue to\u2019.<\/p>\n

The poll was conducted during the second half of August 2021, including face-to-face interviews with 1000 citizens from urban and rural areas, over the age of 18.<\/p>\n
