The hottest topics taking over the public discourse and spreading concern amongst citizens and young folks are coming back on the screen, through \u2018RinOn\u2019 airing live on Euronews Albania, on Fridays at 20:00.<\/p>\n

After the success of our last show, which took place during the electoral campaign \u2013 where politicians from all political forces responded to live face-to-face questions asked by our young guests for 60 minutes \u2013 our young activists are coming back to face our lawmakers on topics of great public interest like the economy, education, culture, the environment etc.<\/p>\n

RinOn comes as a collaboration between the National Youth Congress, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Tirana and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Albanien in partnership with Euronews Albania.<\/p>\n

Dafina Peci, executive director of the National Youth Congress deemed the last experience on Euronews Albania, a successful format that did a great service to our country\u2019s debate culture, while giving power to the voice of younger generations, who had the opportunity to express their thoughts and opinions, while addressing important issues in live head-to-head conversations with the main political personalities in the country.<\/p>\n

Peci also explained that the young participants undergo a process of consolidating their debate and research skills through an in-depth training at the Academy of Political Education at the National Youth Congress.<\/p>\n

Director of the Albanian office at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung foundation, Tobias R\u00fcttershoff, told Euronews Albania that politicians now have the chance to speak directly to the country\u2019s young generations about issues that concern them, instead of only discussing amongst one another.<\/p>\n

In addition, Stine Klapper, director of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Tirana, stated that RinOn will be a show, where democracy is exercised in a constructive manner, as well as a critical one, through topics chosen specifically by the young for the young.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccountability in democracy doesn\u2019t only happen once every 4 years, at the ballots. On the contrary, it\u2019s especially important that in the time between elections, we ask the right questions,\u201d \u2013 declared Klapper.<\/p>\n
