During tonight\u2019s Now with Erla Mehilli, Dr. Brataj reiterated that from a medical perspective the best possible outcome is achieving immunity, adding that studies have shown that people who have received the jab tend to recover much easier from the virus.<\/p>\n
\u201cGet the vaccine or put your life in danger if you contract the virus\u201d, Dr. Brataj said. \u201cNatural immunity is better than the vaccine, but we can\u2019t play games with people\u2019s lives\u201d.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, he asserted that vaccines do not fully protect neither from getting infected nor from transmitting the virus.<\/p>\n
Asked on a prediction on how much longer will the virus be present, Dr. Brataj pointed to a few more years.<\/p>\n
