The head of the executive referred to the author as \u201ca barbarian\u201d and that he was \u201cleft speechless\u201d by the gruesome story.<\/p>\n
\u201cNevertheless, everyone is impatiently waiting for the most extreme verdict on this barbarian, who thanks to the prompt reaction and identification was apprehended by the Police and is today behind bars. This is one of those stories that leave you speechless\u201d, Rama added.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, an eight-year-old boy left home to go to school but when he did not return his parent grew concerned and filed a police report. His body was later found covered in mud at the house of their neighbor Klodian Calameni.<\/p>\n
The 38-year-old was immediately arrested, while it has been learned that he had a violent past, including a criminal precedent after kidnapping a 16-year old girl, a crime for which he spent around 3 years behind bars.<\/p>\n
On social media, many have called to bring back the death penalty, something that was also addressed by PM Rama during his speech.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe death penalty will not avoid these things from happening\u201d, said Rama.<\/p>\n
The head of the Albanian government underlines that capital punishment is \u201cneither possible\u201d, \u201cnor a magic stick that makes these issues disappear\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe case of the death punishment is something that\u2019s been addressed a long time ago as an issue of our civilization for all EU countries and there\u2019s been a long process where countries have taken several steps to abolish capital punishment based on countless research.
