The deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom declared that the government is looking for ways to send abroad migrants reaching the country by small boats, while their asylum requests are being processed.<\/p>\n

His declaration came after a report which outlined a plan to transport migrants to Albania.<\/p>\n

It was Australia who began this practice first, sending all arrivals to its shores to New Guinea and now in Nauru, an island in the Pacific.<\/p>\n

Raab defended UK\u2019s move to find a similar solution.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s fair, there are similar practices around the world and should look, at least, at possibilities of international partnership\u201d, Raab told Sky News.<\/p>\n

Raab did not deny the veracity of an article that reported that British ministers are looking to transport to Albania asylum-seekers reaching the English Chanel.<\/p>\n

When asked if the government has reached a deal with Albania, Raab:\u201d \u201cWell that\u2019s one country, but we are willing to look with partners at whether it\u2019s possible to do this international processing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Albania has dismissed any of these plans as \u201cfake news\u201d, although Times claims that \u201cdiscrete talks\u201d have been under way for the establishment of an asylum center.<\/p>\n

When asked by reporters Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that Albania \u201cwill never be a place where wealthy countries create camps for their refugees.\u201d<\/p>\n
