{"id":26198,"date":"2021-11-28T13:20:40","date_gmt":"2021-11-28T12:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=26198"},"modified":"2021-11-28T13:24:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-28T12:24:09","slug":"work-begins-on-vlora-airport-rama-a-historical-milestone-for-albania-and-kosovo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/work-begins-on-vlora-airport-rama-a-historical-milestone-for-albania-and-kosovo\/","title":{"rendered":"Work begins on Vlora Airport, Rama: A historical milestone for Albania and Kosovo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During his attendance at the ceremony marking the beginning of work for the construction of Vlora\u2019s International Airport, PM Edi Rama deemed it a historical landmark, not only for the city of Vlora, but for Albania, Kosovo and Albanians everywhere in the world.<\/p>\n<p>In response to skeptics, the prime minister said that airports are the motors of economic and social progress for our country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAirports are like food factories because they bring up profits, they lure in consumers and the more people come into our country through airports, the more opportunities there are for the country, to increase services and production because it creates an entire economic chain that is placed at our disposal,\u201d \u2013 said Rama.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the head of state explained that the Airport of Vlora will be an affiliate of the Munich Airport, which according to Rama, will make it easier to then become a part of the whole system.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Munich Airport \u2013 as an operational force \u2013 guarantees that which all airports need, that is synergy with all other airports.
