{"id":26507,"date":"2021-12-02T17:01:40","date_gmt":"2021-12-02T16:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=26507"},"modified":"2021-12-02T21:51:32","modified_gmt":"2021-12-02T20:51:32","slug":"tetraplegics-protest-outside-parliament-their-demands-include-more-financial-help","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/tetraplegics-protest-outside-parliament-their-demands-include-more-financial-help\/","title":{"rendered":"Tetraplegics protest outside Parliament, asking for more reasonable financial aid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to have their voices heard and their demands met, tetraplegic and paraplegic patients gathered this Thursday, outside the Albanian Parliament to stage a protest and make the needs known.<\/p>\n<p>As was the case with the farmers&#8217; protest last week, after exiting the plenum hall, PM Rama met with the protestors and sent them over to have a meeting with ministers Ibrahimi and Manastirliu.<\/p>\n<p>After their meeting, the head of the Association of Para-Tetraplegic Disabled Individuals, Bajram Tirana, said that he was optimistic that their demands would be met.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result of our debate, we settled on a future meeting, after the ministers discuss and come to a conclusion regarding the financial clauses we have put forth.
