About 1 in 2 Albanians in Albania (44%) haven\u2019t heard of the \u2018Open Balkan\u2019 initiative, despite it being covered extensively by the press in both Albania and Kosovo.<\/p>\n

Euronews Albania\u2019s Barometer discovered that citizens in our country have very little information on this initiative, especially when it comes to the countries participating in it.<\/p>\n

Many Albanians wrongfully believe that Montenegro (90%) and Bosnia Hercegovina (55%) are part of this initiative.<\/p>\n

In addition, 20% believe that Kosovo is part of Open Balkan.<\/p>\n

Even though few in number, there are also those that think Greece (7%), Croatia (18%), Bulgaria (16%), or even Romania (10%) are part of the Open Balkan initiative.<\/p>\n

Findings were uncovered by Euronews Albania\u2019s Barometer, in collaboration with MRB and Data Centrum, which conducted polls at a national level from November 20-30, 2021 that included 1.000 in-person interviews.<\/p>\n
