{"id":27582,"date":"2021-12-16T22:02:14","date_gmt":"2021-12-16T21:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=27582"},"modified":"2021-12-16T23:58:14","modified_gmt":"2021-12-16T22:58:14","slug":"what-do-albanians-think-about-open-balkan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/what-do-albanians-think-about-open-balkan\/","title":{"rendered":"What do Albanians think about \u2018Open Balkan\u2019?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About 2 in 3 Albanians think that the Open Balkan initiative is in Albania\u2019s better interest.<\/p>\n<p>Findings from Euronews Albania\u2019s weekly Barometer show that Albanians have a generally positive outlook on the Open Balkan initiative.<\/p>\n<p>44% of Albanians think that Open Balkan speeds up the region\u2019s integration process.<\/p>\n<p>More than half of them (54%) believe that this initiative would bring up the number of tourists coming to our country from elsewhere in the region, thus helping the local economy.<\/p>\n<p>One of the topics widely discussed amongst the general public is the fact that Open Balkan, is an initiative that has been orchestrated by billionaire George Soros. This didn\u2019t find much support amongst Albanians.<\/p>\n<p>The majority (36%) weren\u2019t sure whether or not Soros had anything to do with this initiative.
