This was a pledge made by the city\u2019s new mayor, Danela Arsovska, after the start of her new 4-year-term. In the beginning, she said that she will cancel all previous debts accumulated by the transit company and at a later moment, the state will also be buying more buses.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative by Skopje\u2019s municipal council also foresees that the free tariff won\u2019t be applied to all citizens at once, but it will be a step-by-step process.
