In an interview for Euronews Albania, the leader of the United for Human Rights Party, which represents the Greek minority in Albania, declared that the reform of property titles for Greek minority landowners will affect Albania\u2019s EU accession, although he excluded that Greece could impose a proper veto.<\/p>\n
\u201cAthens is concerned that the Greek minority landowners are being stolen off the land of their grandfathers through legal tricks\u201d, Dule said, adding that there is evidence to support such claims.<\/p>\n
When asked whether Greece would be able to impose a veto on Albania\u2019s EU integration path, Dule denied it but insinuated that the accession talks may face a slowdown due to the new methodology used by the EU.<\/p>\n
Albania and Greece also have another suspended matter on the maritime border agreement. Dule said he wasn\u2019t aware if there were any plans to reactivate the discussions, but he mentioned that Greece and Italy reached an agreement on this matter.<\/p>\n
