{"id":30003,"date":"2022-01-22T18:37:57","date_gmt":"2022-01-22T17:37:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=30003"},"modified":"2022-01-22T18:38:47","modified_gmt":"2022-01-22T17:38:47","slug":"5-dead-and-over-2-000-other-infected-with-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/5-dead-and-over-2-000-other-infected-with-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"5 dead and over 2.000 others infected with COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2.230 new COVID cases have beem reported today in Albania along with 5 fatalities attributed to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>New cases were confirmed after results came back on 6.598 tests, which also confirmed that 1.894 citizens had successfully recovered.<\/p>\n<p>Since the outbreak of the pandemic in our country, a total of 218.679 known recoveries have been registered.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there are currently 24.436 active cases in cities all over Albania, the majority of whom however, are concentrated in the capital.<\/p>\n<p>146 citizens have been hospitalized because of the virus, 14 of whom are receiving specialized care due to complications.<\/p>\n<p data-min-tv-running=\"true\">The ministry of health has continued its public appeals, telling citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible and comply with all the anti-COVID measures prescribed by health authorities.<\/p>\n<p>All citizens over the age of 16 can get vaccinated in our country, in a health clinic or the closest vaccination center to them.
