But, according to the latest reports, by grabbing people\u2019s attention, these ads have become a major traffic hazard for both drivers and pedestrians.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic expert Arben Luzi spoke to Euronews Albania about the impact these ads are having on regular citizens and made an argument about why they\u2019re not simply messing with people\u2019s attention span.<\/p>\n<p>Luzi made a list of possible consequences which come from the distraction of drivers from these moving images.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese billboards are designed in a way that should grab people\u2019s attention while driving. But even the law states that they shouldn\u2019t be placed anywhere near intersections,\u201d \u2013 said Luzi.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, things become even more dangerous at night due to blinding lights coming from these screens.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018At night, you can\u2019t have an interruption of light followed by its sudden reappearance on the screen. This could have detrimental consequences and be a tremendous hazard to people\u2019s lives, including pedestrians,\u201d \u2013 he added.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Road Coad, things like signs, slogans, ads, or LED screens aren\u2019t allowed on roads or places where they can cause drivers or pedestrians to get confused.<\/p>\n<p><strong>YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At intersections all over the capital city, one can find LED billboards, which advertise for different businesses willing to pay for them.
