{"id":30825,"date":"2022-02-02T20:43:39","date_gmt":"2022-02-02T19:43:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=30825"},"modified":"2022-02-02T20:43:39","modified_gmt":"2022-02-02T19:43:39","slug":"9-dead-and-1-164-others-infected-with-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/9-dead-and-1-164-others-infected-with-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"9 dead and 1.164 others infected with COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>9 citizens have died and another 1.164 others were infected with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to last month, the daily death count due to COVID has gone up, despite the fact that there has been a decrease in new cases.<\/p>\n<p>New cases were discovered after results came back on 7.554 tests, which also confirmed a total of 1.987 recoveries.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the pandemic in Albania, a total of 240,642 recoveries have been reported.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, there\u2019s a total of 17,236 active cases in our country, most of whom are in Tirana.<\/p>\n<p>128 citizens have been hospitalized, 23 of whom are exhibiting severe forms of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry of health has continued its appeals to citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>All citizens over the age of 16 can get vaccinated in any of the health clinics closest to them, and children over the age of 12, who suffer from an autoimmune disease and have a doctor\u2019s recommendation can also get their vaccine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9 citizens have died and another 1.164 others were infected with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
