Around 15,000 Albanian citizens have been deported from the Schengen Area<\/a> in the last 2 years. \u00a0Many of them are banned from entering the world’s largest visa-free zone for several years.<\/p>\n

Expulsions were mainly ordered from three member states, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. On the other hand, law offices handling expulsions are flourishing in Tirana.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecently, Spain has joined the list, too. Of course, Germany is one of the countries where Albanians have problems with residence papers or stays that extend beyond the 90-days allowance, so obviously, they are penalized by this fact\u201d, said Franci Nuri, an attorney.<\/p>\n

Asylum and threats to public security are among the other reasons penalizing Albanian citizens.<\/p>\n

\u201cAsylum requests are rejected in 90% of the cases and people don\u2019t know of the expulsion order that follows after they leave. They think that the procedures are over, that everything is fine and that they can return to travel freely in Europe, but they are automatically castigated without even knowing that\u201d, explained Nuri.<\/p>\n

The attorney said that expulsion orders vary from state to state, as well as from the underlining reason. Prices to abolish an expulsion order vary from \u20ac200 to \u20ac500.<\/p>\n

If a person wants to travel again, border police immediately want a paper confirming that the expulsion has been cleared up.<\/p>\n
