DP is calling for the verification of the Home of Freedom candidate running for mayor in Lushnje.<\/p>\n

According to the Democratic Party, Elton Bano should be disqualified from the race for mayor in the upcoming by-elections set to take place on March 6.<\/p>\n

Through a written request, DP has asked the Central Electoral Commission<\/a><\/strong> (CEC), to verify Elton Bano, because according to DP, he has been hiding evidence that proves his conviction for theft in the United Kingdom back in 1998-2000.<\/p>\n

DP also stated that this evidence has been intentionally hidden from the candidate\u2019s declaration.<\/p>\n

If proven, this could result in the immediate disqualification of this candidate from the by-electoral race.<\/p>\n
