{"id":33393,"date":"2022-03-24T16:21:06","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T15:21:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=33393"},"modified":"2022-03-24T19:08:57","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T18:08:57","slug":"dps-reunification-draws-closer-in-decision-to-remove-armored-doors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/dps-reunification-draws-closer-in-decision-to-remove-armored-doors\/","title":{"rendered":"DP\u2019s reunification draws closer, in decision to remove armored doors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Democratic Party took a great leap forward towards internal reconciliation on Thursday following a decision to tear down armored doors.<\/p>\n<p>The doors were placed as a measure to back off protesters called by Sali Berisha, over allegations that they were going to try to break in inside the party\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, Berisha said he <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/albania\/2022\/03\/24\/berisha-theres-only-1-dp-but-were-open-to-talk-to-all\/\">remains open to dialogue<\/a><\/strong>, on the condition that he will only recognize the Democratic Party\u2019s parliamentary group and not its executive council.<\/p>\n<p>But according to Democrat MP Grida Duma, there can be no reconciliation if the two sides start to impose conditions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere can be no conditions when we want a reunification.
