The plenary session of theKosovo Parliament lasted about eight hours and was interrupted in lack of ventilation and the higher risk of spreading the virus.<\/p>\n
The five international agreements from which Kosovo benefits millions of euros, once again failed to pass. The session continued with the proposal of some resolutions along with debates and disagreements on a number of topics.<\/p>\n
Initially, the MPs did not support the resolution on dialogue, proposed by the Self-Determination Movement.<\/p>\n
MPs of the ruling parties did not accept the resolution proposed by the Speaker of Parliament, Vjosa Osmani, who ask the government to dismiss officials from the Serb List, after statements against the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
The only resolution that received the necessary votes for approval was that of political unity and citizens in defense of the war values \u200b\u200bof the Kosovo Liberation Army, proposed by New Kosovo Alliance MP, Mirlinda Sopi.<\/p>\n
However, none of the parties accepted Self-Determination\u2019s demands for amendments in the text nor its proposal for another resolution on this topic.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet us unite and be one, when it comes to national issues regarding Serbia,\u201d said Mirlinda Sopi.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, representatives of other parties also demanded unity.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a historic moment to join forces, to prove that we are one in the face of Serbia, because we are directly dealing with Serbia,” said Daut Haradinaj, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is never too late to seek unity on certain issues,\u201d said Bedri Hamza, Democratic Party MP.<\/p>\n
Despite Self-Determination\u2019s insisting on amending the text, the resolution was adopted.<\/p>\n
