Kosovo\u2019s PM Albin Kurti commented on the attacks against police officers in northern Mitrovica.<\/p>\n
PM Kurti also emphasized that these attacks should be seen as terrorist acts and that according to him, their goal was to kill Kosovo police officers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have harshly condemned this attack, which was a terrorist act. These aren\u2019t attacks that aim to cause collateral damages, these are attacks against our citizens, but rather they are attacks against our police and they are attack which aim at killing our police,\u2019 \u2013 argued Kurti.<\/p>\n
These comments were made by the prime minister during homages paid before Zahir Pajaziti\u2019s statue in Prishtina.<\/p>\n
When it comes to the illegal Serbian structures and organized crime in northern Kosovo, Kurti said that police and his administration will show zero tolerance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe won\u2019t show a single gram of tolerance when it comes to the illegal structure and organized crime in Serbia,\u201d \u2013 he added.<\/p>\n
Kosovo\u2019s PM also commented on the statements made by the Serbian president Alexandar Vucic, in regards to the arrival of a British Airforce plane in Prishtina.<\/p>\n
\u201cStatements coming from Belgrade can\u2019t be taken as facts. This is what the past has shown us as well as the present. Naturally, we have increased our defense budget in Kosovo. We\u2019ve increased it by 52% for 2022 compared to 2021,\u201d \u2013 said Kurti.<\/p>\n
Kurti also spoke about the license plate agreement, by saying that April 21 is the last deadline, adding that the reciprocity principle is an essential factor in the effort to find a solution.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe reciprocity principle is irrevocable and unnegotiable as it is the very essence if we want to come to a future solution,\u2019 \u2013 said Kurti.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
