Former PM Sali Berisha accused Friday US Ambassador Yuri Kim of intervening directly in the judicial process of the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n
Berisha called on the US government to \u2018stop their representative from intervening in Albanian judicial processes\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cLast week I was told by two sources that recently governor Yuri Kim is doing meetings for judicial processes. I call on the government of the United States to stop its representatives from intervening in judicial processes in Albania\u201d, Berisha said.<\/p>\n
According to Berisha, the meetings of Ambassador Kim had the intention of intervening in the verdicts of the Court of Appeal.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had three sources tell me that Kim is intervening in court. If US authorities want evidence for that information, I will tell them everything\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n
The former DP head said that the intervention of the ambassador on the opposition is \u2018ridiculous\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI say to her that the time when they tell the opposition how to play the game is over\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The First Instance Court of Tirana recognized the Congress organized by Berisha. meanwhile DP\u2019s acting leader Enkelejd Alibeaj has appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal.<\/p>\n
