In Tirana, Varhelyi will meet with PM Edi Rama.<\/p>\n<p>His visit comes at a time when EU member states are poised to make a decision this June, in regards to holding the first Intergovernmental Conference (IGC) for Albania and North Macedonia.<\/p>\n<p>In his previous statements, PM Rama has said that if Bulgaria doesn\u2019t give up on its veto against North Macedonia, Albania will have to change its approach on the issue of opening negotiations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The minister of foreign affairs in Bulgaria, Teodora Genchovska, declared that North Macedonia should register Bulgarians in its Constitution, in order to advance with the EU integration process.
