{"id":35795,"date":"2022-05-05T21:54:48","date_gmt":"2022-05-05T19:54:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=35795"},"modified":"2022-05-05T21:54:48","modified_gmt":"2022-05-05T19:54:48","slug":"do-albanians-see-berisha-as-dps-new-leader","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/do-albanians-see-berisha-as-dps-new-leader\/","title":{"rendered":"Do Albanians see Berisha as DP\u2019s new leader?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>3 in 5 Albanians (58.7%) of Albanian citizens think that Berisha should resign from political life.<\/p>\n<p>However, when it comes to Albanians who voted for the Democratic Party in the last general elections, the score is reversed.<\/p>\n<p>3 in 5 Democratic voters (63.2%) think that Berisha shouldn\u2019t withdraw from the political scene.<\/p>\n<p>Only 1 in 3 DP voters (30.8%) are in favor of Berisha\u2019s ultimately resigning.<\/p>\n<p>More than half of Albanian citizens (53.8%) think that DP won\u2019t be able to come back to power with Berisha as their leader.<\/p>\n<p>1 in 3 Albanians (33.8%) think that Berisha could come back to power if he becomes DP\u2019s new leader.<\/p>\n<p>3 in 5 DP voters (60.9%) think that Berisha will bring DP to power, as opposed to 27.8% who don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>More than 65% of DP voters think that Berisha will win the upcoming elections for DP\u2019s new leader.<\/p>\n<p>Only 16% think that another candidate will take his place.<\/p>\n<p>50% of DP voters would elect Berisha as their new party leader if they had the right to vote.<\/p>\n<p>Only 7.4% said they would re-elect Lulzim Basha instead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3 in 5 Albanians (58.7%) of Albanian citizens think that Berisha should resign from political life.
