{"id":36068,"date":"2022-05-10T21:33:45","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T19:33:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=36068"},"modified":"2022-05-10T21:36:44","modified_gmt":"2022-05-10T19:36:44","slug":"bushati-claims-land-swap-idea-sent-thaci-at-the-hague","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/bushati-claims-land-swap-idea-sent-thaci-at-the-hague\/","title":{"rendered":"Bushati claims land swap idea sent Thaci at The Hague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cHashim Thaci is today at The Hague due to his actions as president when he entered those ideas about territorial exchanges, something that was opposed by many countries, including Germany\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This was the stance of analyst Andi Bushati on Tuesday, as he emphasized that this &#8220;scandalous plan&#8221; was assembled at the same table with Albanian PM Edi Rama and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe Thaci is at The Hague today because he wanted to lay mines in the Balkans, together with Rama and Vucic, when they entered that venture on exchanging territories, which was opposed by many countries, including Germany\u201d, said Bushati.<\/p>\n<p>Rama\u2019s approach toward the international justice system in Thaci\u2019s process is &#8220;a mere hypocrisy&#8221;, according to Bushati.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll Rama has said since Thaci resigned is that he does not recognize this process. But those who oversee this process are Brussels and the Department of State, who are also the ones doing the justice reform in Albania.
