The Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic declared Friday to have submitted to President Aleksandar Vucic four diplomatic notes pertaining to states that have withdrawn their recognition of Kosovo\u2019s independence.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe National Security Council authorized President Vucic to inform the general public about the countries in question when he deems it necessary\u201d, Selakovic said.<\/p>\n
With this gesture, as Selakovic stated, Serbia wants to give a chance to the member states of the Council of Europe not to initiate the procedure of Kosovo’s admission to this organization in June, reported Euronews Serbia<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cIn this way, we want to show our readiness to discuss and reach a solution through dialogue and not in a unilateral way\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n Selakovic said Serbia\u2019s intelligence service learned that \u201cat least two states\u201d are working on providing serious logistical support to Prishtina in its campaign for recognition, as well as halting the counter-recognition campaign led by Serbia.<\/p>\n Serbia\u2019s National Security Council convened<\/a> <\/strong>right after Prishtina submitted a formal request to become a member of the Council of Europe.<\/p>\n Today, our MFA @gervallaschwarz<\/a> handed over Kosova's application to @coe<\/a>.
