The US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, has reacted after a decision made earlier today by the British government that included certain disruptive measures taken against several unidentified Albanian individuals involved with corruption and organized crime.<\/p>\n
Through a post on her social media page, Kim said that everyone who abuses public trust to enrich themselves should face justice.<\/p>\n
The diplomat also emphasized that no one is above the law.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe welcome this important action from Great Britain. Those who have abused the public’s trust to enrich themselves & pervert the rule of law – in other words, those who have engaged in significant corruption & undermined democracy – must face justice. No one is above the law,\u201d \u2013 she said.<\/p>\n
