However, all measures have been taken and a Committee of Experts has been formed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve strengthened all our capacities in our virology lab at the Institute of Public Health. At the moment, 3.250 test samples have arrived at the Institute that will help us diagnose and identify monkeypox,\u201d \u2013 said Manastirliu.<\/p>\n<p>Albanian doctors are receiving all necessary training from WHO experts, in order to be able to tell the difference between regular chickenpox and monkeypox because symptoms are almost the same, like high fever, redness, swelling and headaches.<\/p>\n<p>So far, over 16,000 people have contracted the virus in 72 countries.
