Montenegro\u2019s presdinet, Milo Dukanovic has made a surprising statement about the Open Balkan initiative, calling it \u201cmore than controversial, and an alternative plot to keep the Western Balkans out of the European Union\u201d.<\/p>\n
According to Dukanovic, the Balkans doesn\u2019t need this but what it does need, is to join the EU.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose who don\u2019t see our region in Europe, don\u2019t see a multi-ethnic democracy in the Balkans. They like the idea of changing the borders, and ethnic and religious homogenization of chosen nations.<\/p>\n
As usual, everything starts traditionally from the Serbian side. This time around, the \u2018Serbian world\u2019. And this continues automatically with the same wrongdoers of the bigger nation,\u201d \u2013 said Dukanovic.<\/p>\n
