In 2019, the government approved a regulation clearly defining the conditions and criteria for exercising a beach station.<\/p>\n

Article 7 defines these safety requirements at every beach station in the country. Section 8 of the law states that the leasing of water motor vehicles is allowed. But the activity must be performed outside the swimming area, at a distance of 300 meters from the shoreline.<\/p>\n

But this was not respected by the police officer, Arjan Tase, who drove the motor dinghy into the middle of the beach full of vacationers.<\/p>\n

The result was the loss of life of the 7-year-old girl who was hit by the propellers of the boat. Despite Euronews Albania’s inquiry with local police and the district prosecutor, we were not told who owned the boat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
