3 people are involved as suspects in the plan to eliminate Lulzim Basha in 2017.<\/p>\n

Two of them are from Prishtina, while the third is from North Macedonia. There was never enough evidence to prove this plan which is why the investigation was dropped. The leak of e-mails revealed a scenario for the assassination of former opposition leader Lulzim Basha. It refers to a plan drafted back in 2017, when Basha led the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n

Three people were suspected as possible authors of this criminal scenario with the aim of destabilizing the country.<\/p>\n

Afrim Morina, from Gostivar in North Macedonia, was involved in drug trafficking and known as a contract killer.<\/p>\n

The other suspect mentioned in the e-mail is Arben Ymeri, from Prishtina. He is known by the nickname “Japani”, a former jihadist fighter in Syria with links to radical elements who have fought in Syria. He is known as a high-risk individual.<\/p>\n

Fatmir Gurgurovci, from Ferizaj in Kosovo, is also involved in this plan to eliminate the former leader of the opposition.<\/p>\n

Gurgurovci was involved in an assassination before, due to competition related to gambling in Ferizaj.<\/p>\n

Immediately after this alarm, Basha began to be guarded by numerous forces of the national guard who supervised his every step.<\/p>\n

But after 3 years under surveillance and investigative work, the three suspects were left alone as no evidence was found that would have put Lulzim Basha’s life in danger.<\/p>\n
