The National Operational Center of Civil Emergencies in the Civil Protection Agency has informed that the situation created as a result of the rainfall in the country has improved especially in the two most problematic districts, Shkoder and Lezha. <\/span><\/p>\n

The water has been withdrawn from the national road, to the new bridge of Bah\u00e7alek and near the Arch of Berdica, allowing the free circulation of vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is water in about 4356 ha of surface, where the withdrawal is slower, but the situation is being carefully monitored. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Armed and Civil Emergency Forces have assisted in the evacuation of around 318 residents in the Shkodra district, who have taken shelter in dormitories or near their relatives. <\/span><\/p>\n

Also, 57 heads of cattle were evacuated. <\/span><\/p>\n

There is a significant improvement in the situation in Lezha, but the following hours remain critical again, based on weather forecasts for increased rainfall. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Lezha Municipality, the most affected areas are the Dajc, Blinisht, Balldren units, where work is being done to remove water from 24 apartments. <\/span><\/p>\n

The situation regarding the level of the rivers, especially the Drin, Gjader and Erzen rivers, is also being monitored. <\/span><\/p>\n

The situation in Durres, Kukes, Diber is normalized. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Armed Forces are on full alert for every need of the residents of these areas and will remain on the ground even during the night hours.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
