Young Albanians are not informed about how to vote in local elections. <\/span><\/p>\n

Asked by the Barometer in Euronews Albania how many ballots there are in the local elections, those who answered I don’t know are mostly young. <\/span><\/p>\n

18-24 year olds make up 56.7% of this category even though they have the right to vote.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a large difference of 34.4% between the 18-24 age group which occupies the largest place and the following age group 25-34 years. <\/span><\/p>\n

While the curve of the age group of those who do not know how many ballots there comes down when the age increases, only the age group of 65-75 years makes a difference, which occupies 20.3% but still it is a much lower figure compared to the young.<\/span><\/p>\n

But young people are not informed even about those who decide on the annual budget of the Municipality.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the list of those who answered I don’t know, 44.9% belong to the 18-24 age group, followed by the 35-44 age group with 33.7%. <\/span><\/p>\n

Even when it comes to those who decide on taxes and fees, young people are still the least informed. Of those who answered I don’t know, the 18-24 age group accounts for 45.9%, followed by the 45-54 age group with 32.3%, a difference of 13.6%.
