{"id":44710,"date":"2022-12-02T21:11:22","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T20:11:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=44710"},"modified":"2022-12-02T20:27:21","modified_gmt":"2022-12-02T19:27:21","slug":"only-5-5-of-albanians-are-affected-by-the-800-kw-price-band","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/only-5-5-of-albanians-are-affected-by-the-800-kw-price-band\/","title":{"rendered":"Only 5.5% of Albanians are affected by the 800 KW price band"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In the last months of the public discussion about the energy crisis and the establishment of the 800 KW band, experts have been skeptical about the percentage of consumers affected by this band.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\"> Most thought that the number of those affected by the 800 KW band was many times higher than the 4-6% of consumers that was declared by the government. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Referring to the figures of the energy bills declared by the citizens themselves, the findings of the Barometer confirm that 5.5% of family consumers are affected by the 800 KW band. As for saving electricity, Albanians are divided almost in half on the opportunities they have to save. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">To the question &#8220;are you able to save electricity?&#8221;, 51.3% answered &#8220;YES&#8221;, 46.7% answered &#8220;NO&#8221; and 2.1% &#8220;don&#8217;t know&#8221;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In addition, most of those who can save electricity state that this cannot exceed 10% of the bill&#8217;s value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\"> 24.9% declare that they cannot save more than 5% of the bill, 10% of them cannot save more than 15% of the bill. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Only 3.6% of Albanians think they can save up to 20% and 20.6% of them cannot make an accurate calculation of how much percentage of the bill they can save despite their desire.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last months of the public discussion about the energy crisis and the establishment of the 800 KW band, experts have been skeptical about the percentage of consumers affected by this band.
