The Albanian government is working to help olive oil producers who have not found a market to sell their products. <\/span><\/p>\n

Asked by Euronews Albania, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, stated that she is in close communication with her counterparts in Italy and France on finding a possible solution to the issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are constantly working both with the legal framework and with the regulatory framework, but also in the contacts that I have had recently and with the Italian Minister of Agriculture and the French Minister, I have expressed my willingness to further strengthen this sector through Italian technologies, also for the expansion of the markets to solve this problem”, emphasized Krifca. <\/span><\/p>\n

“There are about 10 million roots in the whole country, which have been planted from time to time without a strategy and without a clear planning, which then lead to overproduction at certain times, which has not been accompanied simultaneously with the processing structures”, she said. <\/span><\/p>\n

At the last meeting of the government for this year, the Council of Ministers approved the draft law on beekeeping which will regulate the entire process of beekeeping these products.<\/span><\/p>\n
