Now there are no more doubts, Silvinjo is the new coach of the Albanian national football team.<\/span><\/p>\n

With only 3 years of experience in managing the team, the Brazilian couch might find it quite difficult to manage the Reds and Blacks. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the eve of the 2024 European qualifiers, at a point where some of the players are unavailable due to injury, the 48-year-old’s mission is getting harder and harder. <\/span><\/p>\n

Silvinho as a footballer excelled at Barcelona where he managed to win the UEFA Champions League. Then there was a move to Manchester City, while in his career as a defender, he scored only 7 goals, 3 of them with Arsenal. <\/span><\/p>\n

After Lyon and Korinthias, Albania is the third official team that will be managed by him, while the staff includes Pablo Zabaleta and Dorival Guidon. <\/span><\/p>\n

Without mentioning the friendlies here, the first official match for the new coach is against Poland on March 27, which is considered the most difficult opponent. <\/span><\/p>\n

In front of the red and black fans, they will face Moldova, a challenge which will be played at Air Albania on June 17. <\/span><\/p>\n

Among others, our opponents are the Faroe Islands and the Czech Republic. <\/span><\/p>\n

Italian Edoardo Reja’s goals were second place in the group, competing with the Czechs, but submitted to the Polish team and bomber Lewandowski, meanwhile it is not known what Silvinho has in mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is confirmed is the objective set by the president of the AFL, Armand Duka, i.e. the arrival at Euro 2024 in Germany. <\/span><\/p>\n

But how difficult will it be? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Some of the national team players are injured, among them Armando Broja, who underwent knee surgery and is expected to be absent until August. It is also necessary that all players reach their maximum form and be ready for the team. Eyes should also be on the Albanian Superliga, where Xhixha and Skuka are making a difference, with the latter in the orbit of Serie A clubs.
