Erion Veliaj, the mayor of Tirana, was honored today with the title of “Honorary Citizen” by the municipality of Presheva. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Chairman of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Presheva, Sami Salihu, was the one who gave the title to Veliaj, in a solemn session held in the Municipal Assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I humbly accept this great honor. From tomorrow I will wake up every day saying not only what I will do for Tirana, where I have been elected to lead, but also what I will do for Presheva, the city that has honored me as its youngest citizen. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate it immensely. You have touched me a lot. I love you very much and I will continue to be your friend, your supporter, and feel a great love for Presheva”, said Veliaj. <\/span><\/p>\n

He said that the Municipality of Tirana has made a concrete commitment to contribute to the education of children in the Presheva Valley. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, Shqiprim Arifi, said that it is an honor for the city to give the title of “Honorary Citizen” to the mayor of Tirana. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mayor Erion Veliaj is conducting an official visit to the Municipality of Presheva and Bujanovac.<\/span><\/p>\n
