The decision that the DP took in 2019 by leaving parliament, as well as abandoning the local elections, will take at least a decade to recover. You know that in Albania, mayors serve long terms, so the law was changed and it was limited that they have the right to stay for only 3 terms. This happens in the world and today it is very difficult to get these municipalities. The situation with the division within the DP does not favor its positive result in the elections.
