Stories of violence against women by intimate partners or close family members have often ended tragically. <\/span><\/p>\n

Official data reported by the state police speak of 153 women killed in 12 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2010 to 2023, an average of 10 to 12 women have been killed. 2021 turns out to be the most tragic year with 20 women killed. <\/span><\/p>\n

The violence that partners exert against women is considered to be of pandemic proportions even by world health experts. <\/span><\/p>\n

The report published by WHO ranks Albania second after Romania in terms of this phenomenon in Central Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n
