Tuesday marks 30 days since the Ohrid agreement was reached between Kosovo and Serbia.<\/p>\n
Although, after the meeting, the head of the EU’s foreign policy, Josef Borrell, used the word urgent several times, until now, according to analysts in Pristina, no concrete steps have been seen in the implementation of this agreement by non of the parties.<\/p>\n
Analyst Fatmir Sheholli said that he does not expect much success from this agreement.<\/p>\n
However, analyst Mimoza Gavrani thinks differently. According to her, there will be implementation, but it will be slower than expected.<\/p>\n
Neither side has taken steps to implement the Ohrid agreement. In some cases, there have also been statements, especially from Serbia, that influence more for non-implementation than for its implementation.<\/p>\n
Recent developments in the north of the country have created unfavorable situations for this issue. This has prompted the European Union emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Laj\u00e7ak, to express concern.<\/p>\n
Laj\u00e7ak said that the EU expects that Kosovo and Serbia will focus on the normalization of relations for what they have reached an the agreement in Ohrid.<\/p>\n
