{"id":51502,"date":"2023-04-29T10:25:35","date_gmt":"2023-04-29T08:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=51502"},"modified":"2023-04-29T10:26:21","modified_gmt":"2023-04-29T08:26:21","slug":"mysterious-death-of-kenyan-girl-in-albania-6-persons-questioned-by-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/mysterious-death-of-kenyan-girl-in-albania-6-persons-questioned-by-police\/","title":{"rendered":"Mysterious death of Kenyan girl in Albania, 6 persons questioned by Police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police raided 4 apartments and questioned 6 persons related to the death of Kenyan citizen, Joy Ayoko.<\/p>\n<p>It has been 9 months that the police and prosecutor have been in action, to uncover the mystery behind the death of the 22-year-old girl, who worked in a casino in Albania.<\/p>\n<p>One of the persons questioned by police is the driver of the casino, as well as his brother.<\/p>\n<p>Joy Ayoko was found in a brutally beaten state, fallen from the third floor of her rented apartment in Tirana, in August of last year.<\/p>\n<p>She was admitted to the Trauma hospital. Joy managed to overcome her wounds at first, but a brain damage left her in a vegetative state. The young girl passed away 6 months later.<\/p>\n<p>Her death remains a mystery, and the driver of the casino is the last person known to have met with her before she passed away.<\/p>\n<p>Joy\u2019s mother has appealed for the truth of her daughter\u2019s death to be uncovered, but police has yet to come with an official count as to what exactly happened.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police raided 4 apartments and questioned 6 persons related to the death of Kenyan citizen, Joy Ayoko.
