Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with the EU Special Representative for the dialogue, Miroslav Laj\u010d\u00e1k.<\/p>\n
The meeting in Delphi came after Kurti\u2019s participation in the yearly Economic Forum, hosted by the Greek president.<\/p>\n
Both officials discussed the next high-level meeting between Kosovo and Serbia on May 2nd<\/sup> in Brussel.<\/p>\n Kurti and Laj\u010d\u00e1k also talked about agreements reached in earlier meetings between parties.<\/p>\n Another topic of interest were the elections held in the north of Kosovo last weekend, as well as the importance of ensuring normal functionality of state institutions.<\/p>\n Laj\u010d\u00e1k wrote on Twitter about the need to have a constructive meeting on May 2nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt will be a crucial step forward and it\u2019s important to avoid any actions that could worsen the atmosphere,\u201d says the EU official.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, EU spokesperson Peter Stano confirmed the meeting between Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107. The agenda includes approving the Declaration on missing persons and a presentation of the first draft on the statute for establishing the Community of Serb Municipalities.<\/p>\n Stano refused to comment on Serbia\u2019s criticism towards the elections in the north of Kosovo, as well as Belgrade\u2019s opposition to Kosovo becoming part of the Council of Europe.<\/p>\n The EU, according to Stano, expects both parties to fulfill their obligations.<\/p>\n Both Kurti and Vu\u010di\u0107 have confirmed they\u2019ll be part of the meeting.
