Data from the Institute of Statistics show that more people are buying this brand, leaving the well beloved \u201cMercedes Benz\u201d behind.<\/p>\n<p>Only in the first three months of 2023, the car stock in the country has increased by 8%. 14,460 new vehicles belonging to 276 brands were registered.<\/p>\n<p>Data shows that 20,4% of the new registered cars belong to \u201cVolkswagen\u201d, while 16,3% belong to \u201cMercedes Benz\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Tirana has the highest number of new vehicles registered in the first trimester of the year, followed by Durr\u00ebs, Fier, Elbasan and Shkod\u00ebr.<\/p>\n<p>Cities that registered the lowest numbers of new vehicles are Dib\u00ebr, Gjirokast\u00ebr and Kuk\u00ebs.<\/p>\n<p>Statistics show that Albanians still prefer \u201ccars\u201d, at 83,5% of the registered vehicles, followed by \u201cmotorcycles\u201d at 6.9%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cVolkswagen\u201d is now the preferred car brand for Albanians.
