Journalist Bekim \u00c7oba spoke today to Euronews Albania, about the political situation in the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA few days ago, one of the new municipalities sent an initiative to withdraw Kosovo recognition. It sounds funny, but it serves pro-Serb parties. Municipalities cannot withdraw recognition of a country, but political parties find different methods to get to their voters,\u201d \u00c7oba said in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if there is a growing number of citizens in Montenegro who do not support Kosovo\u2019s independence anymore, the journalist said that there are lots of those who are loyal to pro-Serb parties.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe population that does not support Kosovo\u2019s independence is not a majority. They wouldn\u2019t go as far as threatening this independence. That part of the population that would trade EU integration in favor of recognition withdrawal, is not high.
